Your data will be processed by Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda, legal person 501412727, with registered offices at Av. Calouste Gulbenkian, 121 – 125, 3000-092 Coimbra, Portugal.

The data controller is Dr Raquel Maria Jorge Lopes, with the following email address protecaodedados@electromedica.com and telephone contact 239091821 (Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6.30pm).

The personal data collected is limited to what is strictly necessary, namely the name, address, civil identification number, tax number, telephone or mobile number, e-mail address, and other data may be collected if necessary for the supply of products or services.

Depending on how the customer contacts the company (online, in person or by telephone), Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda collects different types of information for different purposes.

The personal data processed on the website or by telephone are:

– Collected in the customer/user register: name, address, telephone number, civil identification number, tax number and e-mail address;

– Obtained by browsing the website: IP and type of device.

The data collected is necessary for the conclusion and fulfilment of the contract of sale or provision of service and is intended for processing and informing about the status of orders and communication with customers, processing requests for information and any complaints, issuing and sending invoices and/or receipts.

In the physical shop, the personal data processed are:

5. Custom-made medical articles and devices

If the customer wishes to purchase a customised article and/or medical device, biometric data will be collected in addition to the personal data provided in the previous paragraphs, to be sent to the manufacturer.

The data is collected and stored provisionally in a computerised format, accessible only to the employee responsible for the orders, who must authenticate themselves with a user name and password in order to access it.

The biometric data is sent to the manufacturer without any personal identification data.

The biometric data collected is destroyed once the device has been handed over to the customer.

6. Customer-generated content

Any content created by the client and shared with the company via social networks, namely photographs, videos, personal stories or similar content, may be collected and published by Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda.

7. Data retention

The period of time during which the data is stored and kept varies according to the purpose for which the information is processed, after which it will be anonymised or destroyed.

Within the scope of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, personal data will be kept for a maximum period of 3 years from the last contact made.

8. Security of personal data

Personal data will be processed and stored by computer or on paper.

Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda. is committed to guaranteeing the security and protection of personal data made available to it, and has adopted the appropriate and necessary measures for this purpose, namely:

– Lockable cabinet to which only the employee responsible for processing the data contained on paper media (namely invoices, receipts, data processing authorisations) has access;

– Password protection;

– Firewall and antivirus;

– Secure communication via https;

– Minimising the data provided to employees.

Security measures will be reviewed and updated according to needs and requirements in this area.

9. Data dissemination

Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda may communicate users’ personal data to third parties, service providers of the company, namely companies involved in the collection management process.

Only the personal data necessary for the provision of the services in question is provided to these companies, and they undertake to process said personal data solely and exclusively for the fulfilment of the purposes indicated.

10. International data transfers

The company will process user data within the territory of the European Economic Area, and therefore does not plan to carry out any international transfer of data.

11. Customer and user rights

The customer/user has the right to:

– Information and access to data;

– Rectification/amendment/update of your personal data;

– Right to withdraw consent at any time;

– Right to erasure;

– Right to restriction of treatment (blocking);

– Right to portability;

Refusal to provide personal data, either in person or online, which is compulsory and indispensable for a service to be provided, will result in the service being unable to be provided.

13. Security breach

In the event of a breach of security leading to the destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or undue and unauthorised access to personal data, Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda undertakes, under the terms of the applicable legislation, to make the appropriate notification to the competent authorities within a maximum of 72 hours of becoming aware of the occurrence.

Ezequiel Panão Jorge Lda also undertakes to communicate the violation of personal data to the respective owners, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
